As the famed Alice Cooper sings, “Schools out for summer!” Well not quite but we’re getting close. This year I’m choosing specialty camps for my kids. Camps that cater to my kids' individual hobbies and interests. Music camp for your budding musician, tennis camp for your aspiring athlete, gym class for your tumbling gymnast, and dance camp perfect for your star performer..

Got a music loving camper? You need to check out Rare Spark Lessons. My son L O V E S to play piano. He’s so excited to be going to their piano camp! They also offer violin camp, as well as a songwriters camp, and music production, where kids can explore different instruments and learn how to jam out with their friends. *Space is limited for Piano and Violin camp.

I am so excited to send my youngest to Motion Camp. The other day he asked me about trying tennis. Sending him to motion camp is going to be perfect. They focus mainly on tennis and sprinkle in other activities to build your child's confidence. Some of the other activities are; games like capture the flag and frisbee, splash pad and water balloon toss, arts and craft, and more. Their mission is to build well rounded athletes with tennis at their core. This camp is going to be really fun, I can’t wait.

I’ve been taking my kids to MyGym for a few years now. They offer half day and full day camps, which is incredibly convenient. We all love the extra time we get to spend with our kids during the summer, but we also have things we just have to get done. They blend agility games, team challenges, dance parties (and more) into a day filled with laughter and fun, all while building your child’s confidence and coordination.

I wish this camp was available when I was younger. I love to dance like no one's watching, but they are, and I’m not very good..hahaha. Now I’ve got my own little groover and I’m going to make sure he’ll be killing it on the dance floor now until forever. From hip - hop to musical theater, they’ve got a camp for everyone. Watch them build their confidence, make new friends, and thrive this summer. From beginners to advanced performers, these camps will get them stage ready.

My kids love to paint and as we know, painting can get messy, and I don’t like cleaning up messes. Enter Pinot’s Palette. Located in Boca Park, let your kids paint their little hearts out, fostering their creativity, while your home stays mess free. Each day they get to paint something new; sunbathing turtles, friendly puppies, juicy burgers, magic treehouses and more! They’re going to love having their own art work to hang up and display at home.

The 3rd annual 4-day camp is happening this June at The Children’s Discovery Museum.
