Our Favorite Las Vegas Parks to Ride Scooters with SVOLTA
Presented in Partnership with SVOLTA Scooters
There’s something about scooters that just makes a kid’s heart race with excitement—and ours too, let’s be honest. It’s freedom, fun, fresh air, and movement all in one. That’s why we’re always on the hunt for the best scooter-friendly parks in Las Vegas, and thanks to our partnership with SVOLTA, we’ve taken our favorite scooters out for a spin all over town!
Our crew rolled out with the whole lineup:
🛴 The SVOLTA "Ace" 2-in-1 Sit and Stand Toddler Convertible Scooter (perfect for our tiniest riders still figuring out balance, like toddlers and preschoolers),
🛴 The SVOLTA "Legend" 2-Wheel Kids Kick Scooter (great for confident riders who are quick on the turns), and
🛴 The SVOLTA "Mega" 3-Wheel Kids Scooter (smooth, stable, and just fast enough for the preschool to elementary school crowd).
Here’s where we’ve been cruising lately—and why we go back:
🚦 The Traffic Park at Mountain’s Edge Regional Park
Our #1 Favorite
If your kid is scooter-obsessed and dreams of driving a car one day, the Traffic Park at Mountain’s Edge is where magic happens. This section of the park is a miniature city designed for kids to "drive" around with stop signs, yield signs, crosswalks, painted streets, intersections, and even adorable “storefronts” like a bakery, a police station, and a firehouse.
The sidewalks are wide, paved, and easy to navigate—perfect for the SVOLTA scooters. It’s flat, safe, and the section is enclosed by grass, so you can chill on the bench while they zoom through town.
The entire park spans over 200 acres, and beyond the traffic park, you’ve got:
🌳 A huge grassy field for running around
👟 A 1.25-mile walking loop that’s scooter-friendly
🌈 Two playgrounds for different age groups
💦 A splash pad for warm days
🧺 Picnic tables and shaded areas for snacks and breaks
Make an afternoon of it—start with scooters, hit the splash pad, grab some juice boxes and sandwiches for a picnic or find one of the food trucks, and end with good old-fashioned playground play.
Best for Ages: 2–10
Address: 8101 W Mountains Edge Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89178
🛍️ Bruce Trent Park – On Farmer’s Market Wednesdays
We love Bruce Trent for our younger scooter riders—especially the toddlers and preschoolers still gaining confidence. There’s a paved circular loop within the playground, around a small climbing structure that’s perfect for lap-after-lap of safe scooter riding. Parents can park it on the bench with coffee and still keep an eye on the kids—no chasing required.
Come on a Wednesday between 2PM–8PM when the Las Vegas Farmers Market takes over the park. It turns the whole experience into a perfect two-for-one:
🥕 Shop locally made products and produce
🍔 Grab dinner from food trucks
🛴 Let the kids scooter around while you catch your breath
It gets lively but never too wild—just enough hustle to make it feel like a fun family evening out.
Path Mileage: The loop is about 0.2 miles, great for beginners.
Best for Ages: 2–6
Address: 8851 Vegas Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89128
Centennial Hills Park
🐸 Centennial Hills Park – For Explorers on Wheels
Centennial Hills Park on the west side could be a scooter wonderland with wide, winding sidewalks, interactive features, and plenty of shade—making it a top pick for kids with energy to burn.
One of our favorite potential loops on the playground could start under the towering metal flowers and butterflies, then wind through the froggy splash pad, into the tunnels and out the other end. It’s the kind of space where scooters feel like magic carpets, carrying kids from one adventure to the next.
The park is about 120 acres and features three main sidewalk paths that crisscross the area:
A 0.25-mile loop near the playground and splash pad—perfect for little ones
A 0.5-mile pathway that wraps around the hill and amphitheater area
And a longer, 1-mile outer trail that connects the upper parking lot to the lower grassy zones
All sidewalks are smooth and gently sloped, offering a beginner-friendly ride with enough variation to stay fun. Some paths are shaded, and there are multiple benches and picnic areas for pit stops and snack breaks.
Features to scoot around include:
🌳 Tree-lined walkways
🏞️ A grassy hill with built-in slides
🧠 Educational displays honoring historical events and geological formations
🧩 Two playgrounds with climbing structures and nature themes
🎭 A stone amphitheater with terraced seating
There’s also a nature discovery vibe throughout the park with signage about native plants and animals, making it a great spot to blend outdoor fun with a little learning.
Best for Ages: 2–12
Address: 7101 N Buffalo Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89131
Sidewalk Safety: Excellent—paths are wide, separated from parking, and away from traffic

🦕 Aliante Nature Discovery Park (North)
This one’s a dino-lover’s dream. The sidewalks loop you right through the jaws of a giant dinosaur sculpture—and what’s better than scooting into a Triceritop’s mouth? The paved paths here are wide, smooth, and safe for all SVOLTA scooter styles. Beware of the sand from the giant fossil sandbox.
The park has:
🌿 A small lake
🧗♂️ Nature-themed play structures
🦖 Dino sculptures everywhere
🍽️ Covered picnic areas
It’s not a huge park, but it’s full of character and a fun place to stop, scoot, snack, and play for a couple of hours.
Best for Ages: 3–8
Scooter Path Distance: About 0.25–0.4 miles around the lake and playground area
